FAQ
Ordering and payment
Who can purchase from Synapse Peptides?
Our products are sold only to qualified researchers, institutions, and laboratory professionals for in vitro and laboratory research. By ordering you confirm you are of legal age and acquiring these materials for research purposes only.
How do I pay?
We currently accept Interac e-Transfer (Canada) and cryptocurrency: Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDC. Payment instructions appear after you place your order, and orders ship once payment is confirmed.
Can I change or cancel my order after paying?
Contact us as soon as possible at hello@synapsepeptides.is. We can amend or cancel an order before it ships. Because payments are made by e-Transfer or cryptocurrency, refunds for cancelled orders are returned by the same method or as store credit.
Can I request a product that isn’t listed?
Yes. Email hello@synapsepeptides.is with the compound and quantity and we will quote on availability, usually within one business day.
Do you offer bulk or institutional pricing?
Yes. Academic labs, CROs, and bulk orders qualify for institutional pricing. Include your requirements when you contact us.
Shipping, delivery and tracking
Where do you ship, and from where?
We ship across Canada from our facility in Ontario. We do not ship where the import of research compounds is restricted; the purchaser is responsible for the legality of receipt in their jurisdiction.
How are orders shipped?
Discreetly and securely via Canada Post Xpresspost. Packaging is plain and unbranded, with no indication of contents.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are processed once payment is confirmed, typically the same or next business day. Transit is usually 2 to 5 business days within Canada.
Is tracking provided?
Yes. A tracking number is emailed to you when your order ships.
How are the compounds packaged?
Lyophilized peptides are shelf-stable for standard transit windows and ship in protective, tamper-evident packaging.
Products and quality
How do I know your products are legitimate?
Every compound is independently assayed by a third-party laboratory before it enters inventory. Certificates of Analysis (identity and purity) are published per lot on our Lab Results page. We do not sell unverified product.
Is bacteriostatic water required?
Yes. Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides must be reconstituted with a solvent, typically bacteriostatic water, before use in solution. We stock research-grade bacteriostatic water, and our reconstitution calculator works out the concentration and volume for your target quantity.
How should I store my order?
Store lyophilized peptides at -20°C for long-term stability. Once reconstituted, store at 2 to 8°C and follow your laboratory’s protocol for stability windows.
Research use and policies
Are these products for human or animal use?
No. All products are for laboratory research use only, not for human or veterinary consumption. See our Research Disclaimer.
What is your refund and return policy?
All sales are final. Due to the nature of our products and inventory, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds once an order has been placed. Every lot is independently tested by a third-party laboratory for identity and purity; results are on each product page and our Lab Results page. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours with photos and we will review and try to assist. Full details on our Returns and Refunds page.
